We are deliberately slowing down on the rate of new feature development as we want to ensure that the existing features are rock-solid with world-class usability.

I would personally say that the UI and Usability are around 80% as of now. We still have miles to go and that need not be in giant steps. At times, it is easier to take n small steps than n+x big steps.

I am sure that all our patch releases will be significantly small in the 60- range. These are enough to cause breakages that screw the entire system beyond repair.

The main cause of concern for me is that the patches should not introduce any side-effects. I also feel that there should be a more collaborative development on the patches as well but I am scared of opening up the branch to all lest there be any breakages.
