A sense of relief is all around that the release is at last over!
This has been the longest gestation period release that I have ever had. Initially, we used to have a release every month plus a patch every 15 days, then to a release every 2 months, to a release after 7+ months, phew! , we have come a long way.
It took us 10+ dev releases – Alphas, the Betas, the RCs to eventually release vtiger today.
I take this opportunity to thank all of you for the support and encouragement. We made a lot of mistakes in the filenaming conventions, we made a lot of mistakes in the Calendar front, the Plugins code was changed almost 30% to rectify the issues that we have had in the past and finally, the website, forums and blogs are being worked upon to ensure that we do not have un-necessary clutter.
Please realise, we are working upon most of our commitments. We will learn from you as that is vital for us. Your feedbacks are our eyes to the actual world; all feedbacks will be incorporated with vigour
