In my visit, I was often asked about why vtiger does not do any marketing at all.
My answer :- vtiger believes that if vtiger is good, then word will spread about it and then we will see huge traction- as we are seeing now.
If vtiger is not good, it does not have a right to exist.
vtiger is of humble beginnings with the only goal of providing a world-class CRM product at 0 cost. We believe that licencing has to go and open-source is the way to be. It is way more cost-effective to have a community that thrives and works together and learns/earns together than to have a monolith product which is tethered to a company and praying that the company stays afloat.
I believe that YOU are our marketing. YOU are having a look at us as you feel that we are honest and we are meeting your needs by working together. This is what vtiger always sought for.
