There are currently 112 issues in the trac of concern. Of these, we plan to fix all the critical issues and solve close to 20% of the major issues and then go for a round of validation. This will give us an idea of the stability of the product.
The rest of the bugs could be handled in the next release whichever it is 5.0.4 or 5.1.
The webmails part has been retested and there are some new bugs that have been filed. I have been able to fix some of them and I hope that that will put a closure to that area of the product vis-a-vis the 5.0.3 release.
I am being told that the product is relatively stable and the team is having issues even finding some good showstoppers. If I could get a validation from you folks about the same, then I guess, we are looking at a good release soon.
Most of the issues in the trac are not that difficult to solve. In fact, I am pretty sure that most of you guys would already have found a solution for the same. It will be highly appreciated if you could post those fixes to the concerned tickets. This will help us close down this release cycle faster.
