The world will be a much happy place if there were more enterpreneurs and less workers. Right now, it is the other way round. Hence the pain is profound when the economy goes down as most of the workers get laid off or take paycuts.

The world needs more enterpreneurs to save itself. More enterpreneurs, means more options, more ways of solving the same problem, more competition, this will lead to a consumer lead market so everyone wins benefits at the lowest/free cost.

The govt can worry about forming the guidelines which lets enterpreneurs thrive. The rest will automatically fall into place. For example, lots of enterpreneurs, mean a thriving market, so more tax, so more development, so more happiness, so more peace, so more growth and this is a positively ‘vicious’ cycle.

Independence to act fast, take decisions and see instant gratifications are the privileges of being an enterpreneur.

The worker does not have a choice but works as per the instructions and hence does not have the necessary freedom to grow. Moreover, he has already resigned himself to be – NOT an enterpreneur. The worker plays not to lose- something like the erstwhile Indian cricket team.

The enterpreneur plays to win – like the Australian cricket team. The enterpreneur enjoys the ride and learns from it.
