We have cleared up the trac finally and have at present close to 45 issues in toto.

We will be addressing the Major, Critical and Blocker issues only. We have to make a call regarding the severity and we have done what is proper. So, please bear with me for those that are not as per your categorization.
The one thing that ought to be kept in mind is the introduction of a new severity level called unassigned. By default, earlier all the bugs were of type major. Now, it will be of type unassigned. So, please really really do justice to this level else your bug will not be addressed properly. We have had a very painful experience this time (thanks Dirk in Berlin for kicking my ass!) by not having a proper mechanism of filing bugs. In the following days, I will require your assistance in making the process very strict. Nithya too has been instructed to do the same.
With the above done , we have a clearer target to move toward. I hope to have the release by Feb28th as scheduled earlier. I still need your co-operation to stick to the date. Your contributions in terms of patches, code-contributions,wiki-edits, forum-posts, etc are very very very welcome.
Without you all, there will be no release. So that gives you an idea of the importance of the release. We have been working on Saturdays for quite sometime now and also Sundays too ( I think the last 2 weekends were only in office!) to get the release in ship-shape quality.
I understand that the final decision is mine so be it. I am trying to make a balance between those who want an early stable release Vs those who want a 100% solid but delayed build. I am walking the mean path and man, it is painful. I need help here so that we can make it a success together. I have said what I had to ultimately the point is I have to deliver. With you, it will be faster and better though!
I think we are trying to work hard and work smart but then it is always relative, isn’t it? Hence your inputs too are very well needed to put us in the proper perspective.
