Nowadays, I am trying my hand on designing the UI and Usability. My coding skills are pretty limited so I am trying to make up on the aesthetic side. Moreover, down the line, less of code and more of UI and Usability is going to be important for vtiger.
In the Web 2.0 arena, there seems to be a very clear movement toward having more free space and incredible effects. This actually further enhances the UI effects and Ajax comes to the fore. I feel, we will be moving towards that area soon. So, better to start learning now itself.
