Many times, I have seen people who have tremendous talent and ability to succeed, wasting their lives because of weird reasons(or no reasons for that matter). A person who is talented at something does not put in the hardwork in it to excel and does something at which is not skilled at or good for and bemoans his faith.
Such a waste of God’s gifts!
‘There is many a slip between the cup and the lip’ . You really can’t but help think of this when you come across these cases.
On the other hand, we have extremely hard-working guys with 0 or no talent but they excel, outshine the talented ones. There is pure passion and passion knows no-limits. It is a tremendous, turbulent, love-affair with what they are doing with a never-say-die-spirit and a glint of madness that makes them think and do better than the gifted lot. This lot can never be stopped as they have no-limits till either they burn themselves out by hardwork or drink themselves or smoke themselves to death!
The perils of being in the first lot where they are talented and also work hard is that they are mostly eccentric. They live in a different space/time/dimension and necessarily so. Most of the so-called-difficult issues are not considered that way at all by these eccentrics. They think differently and hence are able to do what other mortals are not able to and hence they succeed. There is a downside too – as being eccentric does not mean that all have to accomodate those guys and these guys need a proper environment to thrive upon, without which they are as bad or as normal as the rest of the lot.
