I came across this post and was impressed with the way Steve Jobs approaches design. A UI Designer being the CEO is really unique.
vtiger too needs to have this ability in itself to say NO to unwanted features and yet deliver what is required and deliver very well at that. 5.0.3 will not have too many usability/UI changes that I would like to have but they have to be addressed sometime down the line hopefully in 5.0.4 .
