Well, I have been time and again reminded that there are too many unanswered posts in the forums.
Let me candidly tell you that we are together responsible for this situation.
Before you start getting upset, let me put forth my argument please.
- All it requires is 10 minutes per person to wade through the forums and put the repeated queries in the wiki. This removes the need for repeated answering of common queries.
- The moderators should be firm enough to step in and say – ‘ Look up the wiki and then post here!’ . Same holds for all other members too.
- The moderators are not the sole guys responsible for maintaining the forum. It is a collective responsibility. There has to be someone acting as a vertex and these are the moderators. So, let us not be dependent on them.
- If there is a genuine query not being answered which is not even there in the Wiki, then fine, the vtiger team should answer that.
