Till now, we were not that comfortable with Opera browser.. because of some javascript support and CSS compatibility issues in their older versions.
But interestingly Opera 9.0 seems to be a leap ahead and universally compatible. Though I have not yet checked every details and features, generally I feel most of the CSS and Javascript issues must have been cleared. It works very well like Firefox and IE. Kudos to the Opera guys. 🙂
I am planning to add Opera 9.x to my list of browsers to test vtiger CRM’s UI designs. If things go well, Opera 9.X will be added to the officially supported browsers list. And here is a funny thing, when I clicked the “Check for Updates” option in the help menu, a dialog box appeared saying version “90.2”is available. I am confused.. is that a typo.. or Opera’s style of showing version number? Refer the image attached.
