Since the last update in June, we took more time than usual to deploy this next update. During this time, we have been busy working on the 5.3 version of the open source product. This week, we are releasing \u00a05.3 RC version.<\/p>\n<p>In this month&#8217;s On Demand update (October 2011 update), we are pleased to upgrade the service to 5.3 RC, \u00a0which introduces many desired features and usability improvements. This update also includes bug fixes for most of the issues reported by On Demand clients.<\/p>\n<div><strong>Key Features<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Mail Manager &#8211; A new think mail client that replaces existing WebMail<\/li>\n<li>User configurable Time zone &#8211; Team members can be in different time zones<\/li>\n<li>Configurable Currency delimiters &#8211; supporting different regional formats<\/li>\n<li>Reports filters &#8211; Use advanced filters to customize report at run time.<\/li>\n<li>Enhanced filters in Custom view and Advanced Search.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>Usability Improvements<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Ready to enter Comment box in detail view of records<\/li>\n<li>File upload size increased to 5 MB<\/li>\n<li>Capability to add events to Campaigns<\/li>\n<li>Ability to transfer Comments to Accounts or Contacts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>Please refer to the\u00a0On Demand 5.3.0 RC release notes<\/a>\u00a0for complete details on the update.<\/p>\n<div>Documentation &#8211;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/wiki.vtiger.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/wiki.vtiger.com<\/a><\/div>\n<p>Videos &#8211;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/vtigerCRM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/<wbr>vtigerCRM<\/wbr><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Upgrades over this weekend<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Staying true to our promise of making vtiger CRM On Demand the best vtiger experience, we will be rolling out the new update to all existing On Demand customers without any delay. The upgrades will be completed this weekend.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Whats Next?<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>We expect to roll out couple of more updates to our On Demand customers, in the next 2 months.
