We hope to include a majority of these in version 5.3.\u00a0 Here is the list of features.<\/p>\n<p>The features which are under development are<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Scheduling support for Workflows<\/li>\n<li>Update Fields task type for Workflows<\/li>\n<li>Approval Process<\/li>\n<li>Better Outlook Plugin<\/li>\n<li>Better Webmails module<\/li>\n<li>Global search configuration (Fields selection)<\/li>\n<li>Setting default values for fields<\/li>\n<li>Grouping of conditions in Custom Views (similar to Reports)<\/li>\n<li>Grouping of conditions in Advanced search of List View (similar to Reports)<\/li>\n<li>Auto-merge option for Import (which lets user to update existing record with new field values when duplicate records are found)<\/li>\n<li>Dependent picklists<\/li>\n<li>User time zone configuration<\/li>\n<li>Calendar rewrite<\/li>\n<li>Custom charts for Reports<\/li>\n<li>Read-only configurable option for fields at profile level<\/li>\n<li>List of Modified Field Values in Workflow Email Template<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We expect to release vtiger CRM 5.3 version in July&#8217; 2011.We added a <a href=\"http:\/\/wiki.vtiger.com\/index.php\/Main_Page#tab=Road_Map\" title=\"5.3 Roadmap\"> Roadmap<\/a> page to keep you all posted about the development plans.\u00a0 Please watch the\u00a0 page to get future updates.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We wanted to keep you all informed about the upcoming version, vtiger CRM 5.3.\u00a0 Last November, we released vtiger CRM 5.2.1 version, which is maintenance release.\u00a0 In the past year, we implemented some good features for clients which we now want to bring to the open source product.
