Hence, we do all these experiments time and again to see what will succeed and what will not.<\/p>\n<p>vtiger being open source gives you the option to embrace change without being hurt bad. Let me explain.\u00a0 The following might be too simplistic but you will get the idea.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>vtiger is open source.<\/li>\n<li>So, you have the source with you.<\/li>\n<li>Now, today you are working with some particular process in mind.<\/li>\n<li>Tomorrow, you will have something else which you want vtiger to tailor it to.<\/li>\n<li>Since you have the source with you, you have the liberty to do the changes at no cost or virtually a 100th of the cost that you would have paid to get a new commercial closed source product.<\/li>\n<li>So, this means that you have the ability to embrace change.<\/li>\n<li>You have the tools at your disposal to change the way you work with open source.<\/li>\n<li>Open Source gives you the ability to try and live the future in the present ie if you think that 2 years from now what if the processes change, market change, customers change, how can I use vtiger; then, you can go ahead and play with vtiger and have a POC of vtiger working for you with little effort in just a few days!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You are able to see the future in the present and accordingly make the changes so that you are not tied down to vtiger or any solution that we provide.
