It has been\u00a0 effectively 3 working days since the release and we have clocked close to 7000+ downloads. This I hope is just the tip of the iceberg for the 5.0.3 downloads.<\/p>\n
The other day, I was mentioning to Gopal that I do not expect 5.0.3 to be a runaway success. I expect 5.0.3 to pickup steadily and then pickup great speed and stay that way for sometime to come.<\/p>\n
I think this mode of thinking is more mature than before wherein I expected success at first light. Things tend to take time to happen and 5.0.3 is also in that league.<\/p>\n
The good news is that most of the issues reported till now are due to incompatible distros and NOT because of issues in the product.\u00a0\u00a0 There have been a lot of phone calls for business too since the 5.0.3 release and already Gopal is overburdened.<\/p>\n
This is good to have as we had waited quite a long time for this. Gopal had had his rest \ud83d\ude09 now time for him to start losing all the fat that he had accumulated being on the hospital-bed :-)!<\/p>\n
