Now, is this not exploitation? Why not have a much better revenue-sharing agreement?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Some users take vtiger, deploy it and do not want to share any revenue with vtiger. Is this not exploitation?  Why not have a much better revenue-sharing agreement?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Most of the business cases that I see are these kinds of WIN-LOSS situations.<br \/>\nUnless and until vtiger gets a portion of the revenue that its community members make, vtiger will not make any revenue for itself! If vtiger does not make money,how will we deliver the product properly?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Is charging $149\/user\/year too much?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Most of the other open-source companies have pretty strict kind of licencing models but vtiger does not( In fact, there is no minimum number of user-licences that you have to buy say 5 or some other figure). Is that the reason why these kind of exploitations happen?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Should vtiger too get strict on the licencing and act similar if not the same to these other open-source businesses?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>I believe in mutual, symbiotic growth. But, all these seem anti-thesis to what I stand for.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What should vtiger do?<\/li>\n<li>What would you do if you were in my shoes?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>I am not frustrated. I know vtiger will succeed. It is already succeeding but I want to understand what is it that makes humans tick the &#8216;wrong&#8217; way (WIN-LOSS) when vtiger is being straightforward and truthful and looking for growth on both sides.
