That\u2019s when the <a href=\"https:\/\/marketplace.vtiger.com\/\">Vtiger CRM Extension Marketplace<\/a>, which was launched to open source users in September, goes live to On Demand users. The marketplace brings with it countless extensions developed by third parties, which were previously available to only Vtiger open source users.<\/p>\n<p>For CRM administrators and users, the new Marketplace creates access to a large and growing selection of extensions for Vtiger. This means that CRMs previously limited by the existing module selection in Vtiger gain access to a range of new functions. Additionally, when a desired function or extension doesn\u2019t yet exist for Vtiger, users need only request that a third-party developer build the extension and list it on the Vtiger marketplace. <\/p>\n<p>All marketplace extensions are thoroughly reviewed by the Vtiger team to ensure high quality. Once on the marketplace, they are also eligible for review by other users of the extension, ensuring that CRM users have access to unbiased opinions of the extension before making a purchasing decision. CRM administrators can find the extension store at the bottom left hand corner of the CRM settings page.<\/p>\n<p>While on one hand the extension marketplace benefits users, on the other it serves as a platform for community developers to expose their apps and extensions to Vtiger CRM users, find customers, and to automatically bill for extensions. Because extensions can be installed hassle-free in a single click, developers can focus and invest their time and energy on the extensions they plan to build, rather than on finding exposure, billing, and providing installation support. To get started, developers need only access the Vtiger Marketplace via a special publisher portal.<\/p>\n<p>On the whole, the Vtiger Marketplace solves a number of long-standing challenges for both users and developers.
