If growth = good, then this summer has been nothing short of spectacular\u00a0for us\u00a0(and by association, for all of you! We’ll get to that in a second). July\u00a0brought with it our expansion to\u00a0the first floor of our office building, meaning that we\u00a0now\u00a0occupy all three floors. We’ve added a new main conference room, a new bean-bag casual workspace, a few smaller offices, and tons more collaborative workspaces (which, couldn’t have come sooner – we hired\u00a014 new employees\u00a0in just the last two months!). Occupying the entire building\u00a0has given us the lateral to execute on our vision\u00a0to transform our office\u00a0into a more collaborative environment, meaning that we’re getting more done, with more input, better\u00a0and faster than ever before.\u00a0Summer\u00a0has been good to us, and now we’re ready to pay\u00a0it forward.<\/p>\n

The New Vtiger 6.1.0 Home Page<\/div>\n

Yesterday through our developer mailing list we announced the release of Vtiger 6.1.0 EA. The release includes some\u00a0major changes from the UI to code support and far beyond. We’ve enhanced existing features, added new ones, and have integrated\u00a0a new secure app marketplace from which\u00a0CRM admins can browse through, pay for, download, and directly install extensions that developers have built and listed on the extension store. This means that\u00a0developers\u00a0will have\u00a0ready-access to a massive open source CRM market – and that’s just the beginning. We’ll go over each of the major changes in greater detail once the GA is ready, but for now, here’s a peek at what’s to come:<\/p>\n

We invite everyone to test the 6.1.0 EA release by downloading it here<\/a>\u00a0(FOR TESTING ONLY<\/strong>). Please\u00a0report any bugs on\u00a0trac.vtiger.com<\/a>\u00a0(and set the target version to “6.1.0 ea”).<\/p>\n

A patch to migrate from earlier versions of Vtiger will also be made available when we release\u00a0the 6.1.0 GA.<\/p>\n
