Right now, the client creation is taking quite sometime and I feel that we can further shorten this period. I am thinking of optimizing that part of the code for 5.0.3 so that we have a much much faster application. Right now, we are going to the db for every click even for the client generation. I am thinking of putting in a file which will reduce the db trips too much and I hope to see at least 40% gain in response time ie reduction in response time.<\/p>\n
This will be good to those who are impatient (like me!) and will also be pleasing to the eye. The product has to be made more leaner and meaner.<\/p>\n
I like the progress I have seen in 5.0.1 and hope to see a lot more in 5.0.2 but I must state that we are far from our best. Over the next few patch releases, I expect to see substantial performance optimizations and usability improvements.<\/p>\n
I do not expect to see any features as it seems to have caused too much consternation among the community. In case we do end up getting into a feature, we will denote with proper naming convention.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
