We are glad to release 5.4 RC version of vtiger CRM open source product today.\u00a0This version includes many usability improvements, \u00a0features enhancements, and 100+ bug fixes. These changes have been previously deployed to our On Demand customers in the past 6 months.<\/p>\n

Usability Enhancements in 5.4.0<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>1. Simpler Top level menu, which can be configured using MenuEditor
\n2. Simpler UI for creating custom filters
\n3. Convert Lead UI has been redesigned to offer flexibility to users
\n4. Import Feature has been enhanced to make it robust
\n5. Ability to select records across pages, for Mass Edit or Bulk Email
\n6. Account has been renamed to Organization, and Potential to Opportunity
\n7. Easy access to hidden default widgets on home page.<\/p>\n

Following are some notable features in 5.4.0 RC release<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Workflow module has been enhanced to allow you to create records automatically
\n2.\u00a0Track who changed what with ‘View History’ for each record in the CRM
\n3.\u00a0Webforms module to easily integration forms on your website with vtiger CRM
\n4.\u00a0Create custom charts and add to Home page
\n5.\u00a0Customer Portal enhanced for creating better customized settings
\n6.\u00a0vcard Import for Contacts and Leads
\n7.\u00a0Include Comments in Leads and Contacts Reports<\/p>\n
