The UI and Usability are important focus areas for 5.0.3.
Please let us know if you find there are areas that you feel we must address. This will go a long way in making the product a no-brainer. The intent is to make it a ‘vtiger-experience’ . We have come a long way from where
we started to the current stage and I do understand that the journey has taken us through a lot of tough times.
We are striving to put back into the product our learnings and ensure that it is an enjoyable end-user product. This time around, we have allocated close to 10 days for validation. The UI and Usability issues are something that we are not considering to be secondary. They are being handled equal to that of bug-fixes.
I understand that 5.0.3 has quite a lot of expectations set on it. This makes it imperative that we deliver and deliver well. Hence the query for the UI and Usability requirements at this stage in development. This will give Radiant enough time and space to prepare the product and the developers time to integrate the changes.
I am not able to commit if all your needs will be met but I am sure that a majority of them will be addressed.
Kindly post your issues/comments in the trac alone so that we have a single point of reference for all improvements and bugs.
There have been some changes in the emailclient UI so please go through the entire set of UIs thoroughly.
In summary, I want to know how the product will make you spend less time on it. What are the typical no-brainers that we have ‘over-brained’ and screwed-up?
